Our young, energetic, English-fluent guides are experienced professionals eager to take you on a trip through the city’s most famous breweries. You will learn about the breweries and the local brewing culture, but most importantly, taste the result of hundreds of years of brewing experience. Enjoy the warm and traditional atmosphere as we shine a light on Dusseldorf’s weirdest, most exciting, and most hilarious facts and legends. Our journey encompasses the most historical breweries like the venerable ‚Im Füchschen‘, a staple for almost 400 years, and delves into the craft of modern ‚Alt Beer‘ masters such as the ‚Kürzer‘.
THE TOUR
The two-hour tour begins at the square in front of the Loewenhaus (building), conveniently located in the heart of Dusseldorf’s Old Town. Our guides are easily identifiable by their black backpacks adorned with our logo and signature red nametags. After getting acquainted, no time is wasted as we begin our thirst-quenching journey to the different Breweries, where you can order beer and find the Alt Beer that suits your taste.
Here at the Düsseldorfer Kompass, we give our tour guides the freedom to choose which breweries to take you to. This allows them to make decisions based on the group dynamic, ensuring everyone is entertained and satisfied.
INDIVIDUALS & SMALLER GROUPS
Are you planning to explore Dusseldorf’s beer scene individually, as a couple, or with a smaller group? Then, feel free to join our public tours! You will meet other beer enthusiasts and go through this journey together. After all, the only bond thicker than blood is formed with Alt-beer!
