You meet your guide in the square in front of the Löwenhaus at Liefergasse 9. From there, the group explores Düsseldorf’s Old Town for approximately two hours. You visit several traditional brewhouses, taste Altbier and hear historical stories, local anecdotes and interesting facts about Düsseldorf’s brewing traditions. Some stops are traditional brewhouses that brew their own Altbier on site. At the end, your guide will also be happy to share recommendations for the rest of your time in the city.

The public Brewery Tour includes three glasses of Altbier per person and a knowledgeable local guide. Your first three drinks are therefore already organised. Additional drinks can be ordered along the way at your own expense.

The tour visits several traditional brewhouses in Düsseldorf’s Old Town. Depending on the route and daily operating conditions, these may include Uerige, Zum Schlüssel, Füchschen, Schumacher or Kürzer. The exact selection can vary according to the guide, the group, the weather and venue availability.

Please arrive at the meeting point about 5 to 10 minutes before the tour starts. You can recognize our guides by their black backpacks and red name tags. If your guide doesn't find you immediately, they can reach you using the phone number provided during booking.
