How does a
Scavenger Hunt
work?
1. Meeting in the heart of Düsseldorf's Old Town
We start at the square in front of the Löwenhaus at Liefergasse 9. We’ll welcome you there, briefly explain how everything works, and divide you into small teams depending on the group size. After that, you can head straight out and begin the rally together.

2. You’ll receive your scavenger hunt kit
Each team will receive a rally sheet, a clipboard, and a pen. The sheet contains around 15 tasks, puzzles, and mini-challenges centered on Düsseldorf, the Old Town, and Rhenish culture.

3. Scavenger hunt through Düsseldorf's Old Town
After that, you’ll spend about 1.5 hours exploring on your own in small teams. You’ll search for well-known landmarks, solve puzzles, answer questions, complete small photo challenges, and collect points. For larger groups, different routes ensure that not all teams follow the same path.

4. Finale with awards ceremony and Düsseldorf goodies
At the end, you will all meet back up at a common finish point near the Old Town. There, the results will be evaluated, the winning teams announced, and the top finishers will receive some small Düsseldorf-themed goodies. Afterwards, you can relax and wind down the day in the Old Town.

Working in small teams, you complete a variety of challenges connected to Düsseldorf, the Old Town and local culture. Depending on the task, you may need to find a particular place, take a photograph, answer a question or solve a short puzzle. The aim is to discover the city together rather than simply follow a guide.
